Privacy policy

We explain clearly what data you give us on this website, what we use it for and how you can decide about it, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD). This English version is a translation; in case of doubt, the Spanish version prevails.

What data we collect

Only what you type into the forms on this website:

  • Contact and enquiries about a boat: name, phone or email and your message.
  • Aquila sea trial: your contact details and what you tell us about the visit.
  • Valuation of your boat: your contact details, the boat's details and the link to its photos if you provide one.

Purpose and legal basis

We use your data to respond to your request: to give you information about a boat, arrange a viewing or sea trial and prepare the valuation of yours. Nothing else: we do not use it for advertising or profiling.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and taking pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.

Who else has access and where it is stored

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. Each submission is stored on the platform that serves this website (Tessera Sites, by Highdatanet, on servers in the European Union), which acts as data processor, and we are notified by email.

If you write to us on WhatsApp or through our social networks, those services process your data under their own policies.

How long we keep it

For as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and, after that, for the periods required by law. After that time, it is deleted.

Your rights

You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your data, object to its processing, restrict it or request its portability. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
