Born in Lyon in 1988, Anthony Kazan moved to Spain in 2008 and began his career in Empuriabrava, linked to the yachting industry from the very start. His passion for the sea, sailing and boats led him to build progressive, well-rounded experience, first in boat rental and later in sales, advice and owner services.
Over the years his work grew towards an increasingly global view of the industry. Beyond buying and selling, he gained experience in negotiation, boat preparation, technical follow-up, paperwork, after-sales and personal support for Spanish and international clients.
His personal and professional path has also been shaped by time abroad, with stays in New Zealand, Norway and several Asian countries. These periods broadened his outlook, strengthened his adaptability and consolidated a way of working based on closeness, availability and understanding each client’s needs.
Back in Empuriabrava, and after more than a decade in the industry, in 2021 he founded Kalma Yachting with a clear idea: to create a family business, professional and approachable, able to offer a high level of service without losing the direct, human contact he considers essential in this kind of transaction.
From the start, Kalma Yachting has built its work around a philosophy of trust and long-term relationships. Many clients who trusted the company with a first purchase have come back later to sell, change boats or take the step towards larger yachting projects.
With more than 15 years of experience in boat sales and the yachting industry, Anthony today guides every transaction personally, from finding the right boat to negotiation, technical inspection, paperwork and final handover.
His knowledge of the market, together with a solid network of shipyards, technical services, workshops, specialists and partners, allows Kalma Yachting to offer complete support at every stage of the process.
Anthony’s philosophy is the same as on day one: listen, truly understand the client’s project, advise with transparency and make every stage of the transaction as simple as possible.
For him, selling a boat does not end with signing a contract. The real value lies in building a relationship of trust, supporting clients as their life on the water evolves and becoming a trusted point of contact over time.
